FS: 2007 FSXT 5 Speed (STI Replica)
Hi All,
Well due to some recent developments in my family, I have another addition coming along. I am excited to welcome our fourth (yes 4th) child to our family and while it is good news it is also sad when it comes to my beloved Forester. I will need a third row of seats to properly occupy all of my kids and no matter how I try to draw it out, a safe option cannot be found in the Forester, sadly. I had a feeling that as soon I was done with my “Blue Bus” modification wise, something would happen…well this is the sadness I have faced! A Tribeca or Exiga could be in the works since they have seating for 7 but I really don’t know yet. A trade in is not an option since all my tasteful mods will go to waste at a dealer so I’d rather have an enthusiast enjoy this car in which I converted myself with the details listed below. I did my best to convert this Forester to an STI replica and I think I did a very good job. There have been no accidents or problems whatsoever in typical Subaru fashion and the care it has received has been only the best. I do not smoke and was not able to take it to any driving or track events yet so it truly is still new and has not been subjected to any abuse at all. Break in was done strictly for the first 1000 miles with engine speed staying under 4k rpm’s. It lives in its garage and I only drive it 2 days a week since my wife and I carpool to work in her Pilot so it has been well protected at night or when it was not being driven. The Bank, Chase, has the title. Please let me know your thoughts if you are interested and I will do my best to relay all the details in a timely fashion. Here is a list of what it has and what it will come with:
• 2007 WRB Forester Sports XT, 5 Speed, 12,500 miles
• Includes heated seats and all sports options and painted WRB mud flaps, Home link Auto dimming rearview Mirror, rear cargo tray, rear tonneau pull out cover, factory keyless entry/security system, rear bumper bad with Forester emblem.
• Maintenance and oil changes done by my dealership, Mastro of Tampa(www.mastrosubaru.com).
**Modifications Installed (Combination of OEM Subaru and Aftermarket Parts):
• UTEC Delta Engine Management System(Turbo XS)
• IHI VF39 Turbo from an STI that was installed with 5k miles on the turbo(OEM Subaru-used)
• STI TMIC also from an STI with associated Y pipe and STI restrictor pill in boost line(OEM Subaru-used)
• Brembo STI Front Big Brake Kit with Brembo slotted rotors(new OEM Subaru*gold calipers)
• Prodrive 18” Gold PFF-7’s no scratches or imperfections with Kumho Ecsta SPT Tires
• Swift Springs installed specifically for the stock struts provides a 2” drop(Swift)
• APS Turbo Back Exhaust (3” catless from turbo to muffler with Kartboy X-Long hangers)(APS)
• HID Conversion done for low beams, and stock Halogens for highs(still functional but DRL’s disabled and also still have Halogen low beam bulbs also for easy swap back if preferred)
• STI Rear tail lamp swap with black inner casing color(OEM Subaru)
• STI WRB Hood Scoop for STI TMIC w/stock scoop vent(OEM Subaru part & color)
• Rear factory wing installed (OEM WRB color from factory)
• Window tint on all windows including front strip on windshield
• STI Decals/Badges on grill, front doors, rear door and front bumper cover(all OEM except bumper cover)
• K&N Panel Filter in stock air box
• *Whiteline 24mm front Sway bar and ’04 STI Rear Sway bar
• Dyno tune done by Gadiel at BVP Performance in Tampa FL, puts down 281hp/295tq (pump gas) & 294hp/305tq (race gas) at all four wheels.
The following parts were removed due to some of these modifications and will come with the sale(if some swap parts are not listed I no longer have them):
• XT WRB hood scoop, full OEM Exhaust with 02 Sensor, TMIC with hoses, Goodrich stainless brake lines, stock springs, OEM front calipers/rotors/pads. All OEM parts were swapped with only 2500-3000 miles used on them so they are still VERY new.
I am asking $22,000 and it is negotiable. Please feel free to pm or email me at robb27@verizon.net with any questions at all. Thanks for looking and helping me through this painful sale!
