yeah, but wasn't there a header design change between 03 and 05? i remember hearing something about 05's being EL stock? don't take my word for it, could be completely wrong, but i do remember there being a change in the header design between the bugeye 02-03's and the 05's

Not according to Scott Siegel. They are all the same. At least as far as interchangeability. Maybe there was a design change.
I'll let you know when I get around to changing mine.
Because I bought a bug eye one to put on my 05 (had it tapped for egt).
