I'm gonna use it so I can break in the motor under boost and to drive on while I get my wastegate welded.

 

you going external WG? you could always build a bracket to hold the gate shut, that makes it easy to resell the turbo if it's not welded...

I'm going to do this on mine soon.

 

I have a FP Green that is set up for external gate already. I dont want to drive around without a gate until I can get the 44mm welded on. Also, I want to break in the motor with boost. I could just fill my tank with straight C16 and run 50psi

i have a stock turbo ill sell for 30 bucks not sure what wrong though never had shaft play.....lmk justin-813-293-5878

 

Is there anything wrong with it? It needs to be in 100% working condition.
