Upgraded TD04L. 50-trim compressor.
Hey guys. My turbocharged honda has used a WRX turbo for around 2 years ( car has got about 100-150 miles on it in 2 years since its been totally illegal tag/insuraence wise ). Anyway, I'm selling the kit off my honda.
If anyone is interested in a true "bolt on" stock turbo upgrade, I'd sell JUST THE TURBO for $400. Its got 50 miles on it since the upgrade/rebuild.
The turbo was upgraded and rebuild by the shop in my sig.
The stock compressor wheel was ditched, and a 50-trim garrett compressor wheel was machined into the stock compressor housing. The turbine side of the turbo was clipped 15 degrees to give it a little more topend. The bearings and seals were replaced, and the turbo was balenced.
This turbo is direct bolt on and will appear 100% to dealerships and other "compeditors".

do u need bigger injectors to run this? what is the size of the stock compressor wheel?

Since mitsu. and garrett use different systems for sizing ( IE: stock is a 13G compressor ), its kinda hard to tell....
Its not going to add 75whp or anything, but it IS #1 as close to a new turbo as you can get #2 will make more power.
The SRT4 guys are foaming at the mouth for a turbo like this, but with are POS intigrated turbine/exhaust housing, its almost impossible.
if you want a little more power, don't wanna spend $800 on a VFF ( or whatever its called ), and don't wanna have to get into upgrading the 100 little things that come with big T3s etc, this is a GREAT option.
I could see a 20-40whp gain from swapping on this turbo, more air out, more air in.
