ive had flex a lites on alot of my cars and never had a prob at all, great fans! im curious to know what you mean by "upgrading to big boy fans and shroud." just wanna know what im missing out on?

Never had a problem with this either.

01+ Camaro fans with a custom metal shroud, if I'm right they move more than double the amount of air the FAL do, 8,000CFM or so.

It helps keep my AC colder, since I don't have the condenser fan, so all I run is two.
