as for SR parts, who know's, if there's enough interest in this "community" car, WE might go SR, but like i said, it's going to be a cheap ass build, cobbled together for pretty much track use only...

shit if you can find a n/a sr(cheap as hell too) we can build a motor like the one i built that jeff had

thing is, this car is meant to be crashed, I'm going to use ti to practice hugging walls, getting super close to clipping points, even if they're K rails...
one thing that has always stuck in my head, is back in OSW Drift days, there was a guy, put his car in the wall in the front left corner, rubbed on tires and shit, so he ran a chain through his FMIC piping hole, hooked it up to his truck, pulled it back out, and got back on the track...
that will be this car...
if the car gets totalled on the track, beyond derby car repair, all parts will be returned to respective owner, at least the parts that can be salvaged...
but even a rollover wont keep this car off the track...

Thats a unique idea.. But heres the dilema I see.
People donate..
People drive.. ( at events ofcourse)
One donator not so great of a driver.
End result other people who donated no longer able to drive.
lol.
But unique idea. Almost as cool as my " Will trade moms furniture for parts thread" a year or two/three back.

lol @ Cam, will trade couch for side skirts or SE wheels + cash....
as for bad drivers, there's places like desoto that have an infield that is really friendly to new drivers, bout the only thing to hit is tractor tires, and those are somewhat forgiving...
exp drivers can bank it (if the SOHC can withstand it), and new drivers can stay in the kids area...
