I saw something last night where they were showing people being stupid, some kids at a party decided it would be cool to break beer bottles over each others head, and they kept hitting with the bottom corner where the bottle is strongest, right on the persons head, just beating each other basically.

Thats what chris must have been doing, trying to impress the ladies, letting his buddies hit him in the head with beer bottles.
