My roommate bought it from some guy on here about a year ago and then never put the title in his name. When we moved out he lost the title and the bill of sale and cant remember who it was he got it from and it would be a big hassle. I bought it from him with the intentions to swap everything to a new shell but can't find one and I'm sick of my pos VW dd as it is.

Yea. If it wasn't a total pain in the ass I'd get the title myself and just keep it. Car is straight, could be a good track car, but I need a road car.
