I bought a complete clip a few months ago from Canada. No issues getting it in Osaka still gets them.

I have no idea where you'd get a bare clip though... maybe buy a complete clip and sell the motor/whatever else you don't need? More work, but I got my clip less than 2 weeks after I ordered it.

but a clip is like $3500 and a motorset is like $1500 so ya that's like $2k just for the clip without the motor, that's what I'm saying is they are not cheap, people seem to think you can pick up clips all over the place for like $500 and that's just not reality

 

the lol in this thread is amazing. last time i talked to osaka they said they had 20 in and 40 presold.

 

realistically those that have a clip laying around useually sell them for around 500 or less. i just never need one when there sold

 

Now wait a minute That $3500 includes a silvia front end, front & rear nismo suspension, rear subframe w/lsd, and lots of other small stuff (strut bar, boost gauge, digital climate control...). The price is really pretty good when you factor in all the other stuff you get. Especially if you notice it includes shipping.

And yes, a clip (without motor) typically goes for $500 give or take. The trick is finding someone with one they're trying to get rid of.

 

I'd start calling shops who import motors and see if any of them have a clip they'd be willing to sell...

 

I've been looking for a while now. I've emailed any leads I got to importers here in Fl, nothing. I posted a WTB in various forums. Not much luck so far. Out West you can find them around. I just received a PM from a guy up North. He said he has one and wants $1400.00......Ouch.

 

^ exactly what I'm saying, plus I'm so tired of people doing half assed RHD conversions then talking shit about RHD because their car fails.
