no you dont.. the pistons and rods are perfectly fine.. youll need a new crank, rod bearings, main and thrust bearings.. ive never had to change all the stuff when someone had a bad bearing.. dumb ass

if it spun rod bearing you will need a new rod too....

 

its not spun... motor has slight nock.. it started at idol and car was shut off immediately and towed home then i pulled the motot out.... i highly highly doubt its spun.... its not knock to the extreme like driftkid thinks it is

that leaf is from japan and is what is causing the knock. btw.... if ur car was knocking why wouldnt u try and at least diagnose the problem instead of taking it out right away not knowing whats up. is it a deep knock or more of a high pitched knock. ive had lifters bleed down on me an a few occasions and a good wot run cured it. heres a good question: did it have enough oil in it?
