the guy i bought the turbos from said the seals are good. i don't need these turbos anymore because they will not meet my needs.

You guys need to learn how to describe NORMAL shaft play in a non-scary way. All turbos have shaft play, even BB ones. These turbos in reality sound like "the shaft play is within spec".
