no no what i meant was, would this motor be ok in a sohc car that NEEDS a motor just to drive. also, if it needs a rebuild, then id RATHER spend my money and swap the shell over to a dual cam. thats all man. just looking for a motor to geta shell back on the road.

i know it needs the oil pump obviously to have the delivery and pressure again, but it should be fine. he said it didnt knock. the guy is on here. i think his TR name is mysteriousdriver. search it and ask if you like. actually he is the one i plan on buying the transmission off of when i get extra money.
