im tired of my drag-racer-full-boost-at-11,000rpm powerband.

this is what i want for my s13 sr20det:

A) i would like to trade my BC 272/272 cams for a nice set of 264/264's

B) im also interested in purchasing 1 (one) 264 intake cam and go with the 264/272 route

3) i want to get rid of my gt2871r with a 0.86ar. i hit full boost at like 4500rpm with my cam and it's retarded.
------i want to trade for a gt28r + cash on your end
------gt28rs (plus a little bit of cash)
------gt2510 (maybe), gt2530(maybe..)
------gt2871r with a 0.64 ar (ideal. straight up trade)

 

you already have a gt2871r, just buy a .64 housing done

 

or just port the head like we we're talking about. either way kinda silly just because you JUST got tuned on that setup...

 

i have to get it retuned regardless broski. i need to be pushing more then 11psi because the turbo isnt even breathing and im losing midrange torque.

where can i purchase a .64 housing?

main goal: full spool by 3800 plus or minus some. i'd prefer 3500.

currently: hitting full boost at 4500 with 272's and the .86 ar

 

ATP TURBO - The Premiere Provider of Turbocharging Components has just the housing from what i recall, as far as the rpm you wanna hit spool by, im really picky with setups and love my s15 t28, starts spooling around 2500, and full boost by around 3000-3200, but power tops near 300

 

see, full spool at 3000 ish is badical in every way possible. boost at 4500 is retarded.

are you on stock cams?

oh and the cool thing about tradesies is that i wont be spending anymore money on a turbo housing.

yeah, i hear you, been there, i had same setup, hks 272 step 2, gt2871r .86 and 22psi, made 395rwhp, and traded it for s15 t28, hks 256in 264 step 2's, and totally love it, im on s14sr btw

 

did you trade someone locally or did you have to ship? how would you go about trading with someone from a different state?

 

i understand where he's coming from i had a t3/t4 sc50 precision turbo and it spooled at about 4000 and that sucked. it didnt hit full boost till about 4500, that was with a tubular top mount mani. but that was on stock cams. i made 340hp and 302tq on all stock internals with a safc tune.

before that set up i had a s14 t28 and i made 250 on all stock with safc and 16lbs that was more fun than the big turbo. especially for sliding.

 

i have a perfect .64 that im still debating on trading you. ill let ya know if i decide to.
