A complete engine even with rod knock is worth a LOT more than $500, your going to have a very hard time finding one if thats what you expect to pay.

However if you are trying to piece one together cheap I have a disassembled shortblock in good condition that I am selling with a new metal head gasket for $450, just add a set of new bearings and you have a shortblock that you know wont leave you looking for a replacement crank or other parts.
