Misc-
-The car had a wire tuck. I could not source 97-98 harnesses for the life of me, so I found a set of 95 harnesses. The car now has 1995 dash harness, engine harness, and front chassis harness. I converted everything over that I needed to.

The horn and cruise control are wired up but do not work since the steering wheel harness is not connected (it's part of the airbag harness and if I have time, I might put it back in to see if it works).

The radio works, but one part I forgot is that the 95 harness might have been set up for a 6 speaker/amp setup, the speakers do not have output right now, but it is fixable.

The A/C did work before, and was recently recharged but does not turn on the fan or compressor right now, I am looking into it, is definitely wiring somewhere.

The car has a brand new hood release cable/latch.

The engine runs great for cruising, I can feel it bog a bit on heavy throttle, there is some richness that needs to be tuned out. I am going to do a compression check and boost leak test as soon as I can to verify the numbers. I set the timing this past weekend and it is at base 15* BTDC (which is what the map we run in the ECU calls for). With a new O2 sensor and knock sensor, it should be fairly nicer to tune (fyi, the old knock sensor was melted to the block yikes).

Passenger front and driver's rear wheel have some curb rash on the lip. I will fix the red lip.

Paint on the car is good, minus the usual stuff from its age. Maybe 1 or 2 dents on the whole car, and they are unnoticable.

Feel free to ask me more.

Right now it's set at a modest $8500, and that is semi-firm. No, I will not part out, and no I will not trade.

If you happen to have a black S14 spoiler, let me know, so i can buy it and put it on the car.

I respond best to PMs, but I will entertain questions in this thread when I can.

Also, I live in south Lakeland. I'm not driving it for anyone to look at sorry.

remember these are older.

Do you have some pictures? I have cash but would you be interested in trading for a 1997 dark green 120K motor that sounds and runs like new + some cash on top. Pm me and let me know.

Why so cheap? PM me if there are any problems, I dont wanna drive to lakeland if theres gonna be some weird bs that comes up? Is there any timing chain rattle? I have cash, and im very interested. I assume since its on a 95 harness it has an s13 KA ecu with a s13-s14 conversion harness? Either way let me know Im VERY interested.

i have explained everything in my post but here is a cliff's notes:

-the car runs fine. it feels like it's super rich in boost, it's almost bogging. it needs a tune.

-cruise control and horn don't work. the airbags are in there, but the harness isn't and the horn and cruise wiring are in the same one. *going to try and put that back in soon if it's not sold yet.

-a/c is wired up, charged, and worked before. it does not kick on now, and is obviously in the wiring mix-n-match that i have.

-the high beams come on with the low beams. same reason as the a/c they were fine before, but the wiring deal has me stumped. i have one more thing to try on them. i followed the procedure for going zenki to kouki headlights, since that is essentially what i did (except i was using a zenki harness with kouki headlights to begin with)

-the radio turns on. there is no sound to the speakers because again, the harness probably was meant for the pre-amp 6 speaker system and i forgot about that. fixes would involve pulling the dash again which im not doing to get to the wiring (it runs along the firewall). OR if someone was upgrading the system, they could use an amp and wire to the speakers that way. or just run the wiring. i might try one more thing, we'll see.

-2 wheels have curb rash.

-the paint is ok, it's 11.5 years old, but the body is in perfect shape.

it's a good DD, but there are a few things that need to be fixed, as with any used car. with everything working and a paint job and a tune, this car is worth well over $10,000, but i dont feel like waiting forever so it's priced to sell at $8,500. that's OBO, but i don't want people coming in asking for $7,500 just yet.

bump!

i have tried fixing a few things. no luck yet. im tired of staring at FSM electrical diagrams lol.

i still aim to fix the high beam headlights, the speaker output, and the cluster illumination. i might be able to get the horn and cruise controls hardwired too if i have time.

the a/c will be the last of my worries.

the elec fan isnt coming on but the stock clutch fan with the koyo radiator and no thermostat is keeping the car barely warm at the moment so it will do fine in summer weather.

i'll consider offers of $8000 right now. it will be on autotrader in a few days and ill post up a link.
