all the cranks I have are nitrided. makes the crank far more durable. dumb to build 7 bolt without it. I have never sold a nitrided crank to anyone. apparently the extra cost isnt worth the extra reliability to anyone else. .

weighed today same day same scale.
6b 2.0 35lbs
6b 2.3 36lbs
7b 2.0 30.5lbs
7b 2.3 34.5lbs
I weighed both early 7b 2.0 cranks and evo 2.0 cranks. and also early 93ish 7b stroker and late 2001 7b stroker.
ffwd doesnt say anything about early 7b cranks being heavier than evo. likely because they are not.
