looking for a motor
Im the builder, and yes the 7 bolt head may have a better flow with a smaller turbo but when it comes down to the line I use 6 bolt heads over a 7 bolt. A well ported 6 bolt will out flow a ported 7 bolt anyday of the week. And well 7 bolt block, nuff said there.
Gregg I have a virgin 6 bolt head in the shop.

Why are all these new 4g cars making the same power on smaller turbos than old 6-bolts that needed huge turbos and nitrous to make? I will admit turbo tech is alot better now days but the 6-bolts are still out there and it seems that the 7-bolts are what's really putting it down. Look at the power Hondas make, you think big port 6-bolt heads got them there. lol
As for the block, I don't get what you mean by nuff said... Do you mean your lack of knowledge hinders you from discussing it any further? Just asking no harm ment. Let me help, the 7-bolt block is actually stronger with more webbing and a stirdy solid crank girdle to reduce vibration and fretting on main bearings... Way better design. Now the crank on the other hand is of a softer material. When used with heavy duty clutches pushing it into the block it causes filing of the crank and ultimately crank walk.....
For anyone that wants a superior engine, build a 97-99 7-bolt with either a billet, nitrated or evo crank and you will love it.
Actually, nvm go 6-bolt so there is more 7-bolt parts left for the guys that know.
