need to find one asap the person who supposedly built and rebuilt mine cant seem to remember doing the work since its messed up so i just need to find a new one and ill have someone reputable do the rebuild (not on or anything to do with tr)ive tried calling damn near everywhere with just about no luck in town so lmk if you have one

its not going into any gear it has plenty of fluid right now its still on the car but transmission fluid coming out from inbetween the trans and the motor....im going to have andi pull one of the cooler lines to see if its pumping...this car has been a big headache jerry between trying to hunt parts putting on a new headgasket new belts water pump alternator and hunting down nuts and bolts...i have to much invested in the car to get rid of it now

thats why i didnt buy the car. its called a basket case. always results in unexpected headaches when buying a car in parts like that.

if fluid is coming out it sounds like the install was botched. the torque converter has two sets of splines that need to line up. sounds like only one set was and it was forced together. just a guess from where I am sitting.

i agree its coming down to just the transmission now i will have what you said looked at and post some results thank you for your advice....on the other hand although the car was a basket case it does have freezing cold ac i hope to have it done soon

and if it is what you said is it an easy fix can the torque converter be taken off and realigned or is something damaged now

the oil pump would get damaged..
