Default 98 eclipse gs fs 650 obo

basically i have 98 eclipse gs that about 4 months ago i ran over a stick and it cut the wires on the o2 senser and i think the wires touched and fried the ecu(it happened to my buddies car a while back, the car starts and runs but idles crazy and if i push the gas and drive it around it eventually bogs out and stalls. i did buy a ecu when it first happened and it made the idle steady but way to low, turns out the guy sold me the wrong model ecu.and im not a mechanic so its been sitting ever since.

details: its maroon, auto with around 90000 miles, lowered on ricer rims,it has exhaust headers, after market front bumper that the clear coat is almost all off but the rest of the body has no big dents and is pretty straight.the interior is tan leather thr driver seat is gone but i have a corbeau racing seat that ill give you it has a tear on the side.the headliner is gone and the rest just needs to be cleaned.

ill go over and get the vin# off the ecu so if you have one you can come over plug it in and see if it works.

i would make more money parting out but i just want to get rid of it all so hit me up

please call if intersted i hate typing and i can explain in detail everything if you call, dont bother texting i took it off my phone.ill tell you everything straight i have no need to lie.

this is true, but who knows. i can't see ripped wires from an o2 sensor shorting the ecu or what could have happened that just cut the o2 sensor lol. with it being obo, it could be decent. even for a 420.

That's exactly what happens when you short the ecu sensor ground with the heater circuit. There is a little trace on the lower left corner of the ecu that all the sensors ground through. This has probably been cooked. Its an easy fix. Just pop it open and repair the trace. Unless its cooked too much lol.
