Used 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution For Sale | Clearwater FL

If anyone knows anythng about this one, I would love some feedback. Dealer sales are always scetchy without talking to the previous owner and I don't know what could be lurking around problem wise. ANy info would be much appreciated.

seems pretty decent, do a carfax on it if you can to see if there were any wrecks.

when you are looking at a car and the kbb says it is 18,000 but they only want like 6,000 or 8,000 then i would be a little worried but since it is really close to the kbb that they are selling it for then i dont really think you have a problem because you have to remember the way the economy is, these high priced vehicles are not selling as much as they were about 5 years ago and so the dealerships are trying to get as much out of them as possible, also they more then likely only have about 9 or 10 grand in it so they are still wining.

 

Looks nice...Has MR gauges and a shift knob and a MR e brake...Cant tell much else, motor may look like shit thats why they didnt post pics of it...Id go look at it in person!

 

I really want to go see it. I may just test drive it to see whats up. I really don't think I can give up my bugeye though after all we have been thru and all the work I have done.

 

i already went and saw it/drove it about 2 weeks ago. It pulls to the right and has quite a bit of vibration in the steering wheel. There isn't any t-case whine so that's a plus. The 60k hasn't been performed yet, but they said they could throw that in for no cost. Fitz doesn't negotiate price but overall it isn't too bad Clutch had a really rough engagement and didn't grab until really high up so that's probably on its way out...can't think of anything else that grabbed my attention. Decent car looks like it was never modded.

 

the car has 60k of hard miles on it. be careful when you buy a car from fits. the guy that does the used cars knows what he is doing. but the dealership will not spend a dime to fix the car. they will not do the 60k for free if you do go and get it.
