Pretty sure the sharphid kit I got came with apexcone ballasts. But they are different than the ones DDM uses. Those are midsize...sharp used a newer mini size ballast last I checked.

I dunno. I paid $70 for mine 2 years ago when they came out with the mini ballasts. Just burnt a bulb out (due to alarm going off flashing lights for an hour lol) and they offered to replace both bulbs for free. So Im happy.

actually that looks like a newer version of the ballast I have. In that case I would just go with whoever you think offers the best bulbs and warranty for the price..
