True but if you only doing fwd you wont need none of the other parts I would just buy a evo 9 motor and harness and call it a day.

Yup that's what I might do with my 2nd hatch.... use a Lancer fwd trans till I can afford to go awd.

Your going to lock the viscous, you know the front axles plug into the T-case right?

T-cases are heavy, it will be useless weight on a fwd!

yes but that setup will be alot stronger then a lancer tranny.

we really don't know for sure if the lancer tranny is weaker. Well atleast if you decide to go awd its already set up for it.
