correction, i am selling two trannys, both good. one has a broken upper right bolt hole - that ones $50, the other one I paid good money for is perfect for $100. I called you back and left you a message saying I would just sell you the good one out of sympathy for $50, but since you didnt want to answer or call back, its still sitting here.

The motor was out of a 94 Talon TSi FWD running when pulled with 90k

You wouldnt be doing yourself any favors. Everyone goes from 7 bolt to 6 bolt, But I guess if your a fan of failure have at it...

And to answer the question, NO, You can use 1g for 2g but not 2g for 1g.

THE 7 BOLT WONT WORK.

the 7 bolt motor is a 1994 Eagle Talon DSM motor, it will work on any turbo chassy with the original tranny 89-94. as long as the cas can be used and in 2G's, the cas is used with the wiring harness with the help of the 1G ina 2G wiring harness that splits it to the knock sensor harness and 2G cas harness.

if you want to put a 7-bolt 4g63 motor in your 91 you can do it, but seeing as how all 7-bolt motors crankwalk at one point, maintenance is key and oil is very important.
