major problems with the car need help asap
okay so i have a 98 eclipse spyder gs its the 2.4l with a 2.0 head to make it dohc well about 3wks ago now one of the oil plugs went out on the block (the 2.0 head doesnt need 5 oil holes that are in the block) well 1 went out and was allowing oil to seep from around the head under boost well after all said and do i snatched the motor completly apart other than taking pistons and crank out every thing looked imaculent seeing how it was just built 3000 miles ago with eagle i beam conecting rods je 8:5:1 compression pistons scat crank arp conecting rod bolts and arp head bolts well engine was fine got it put in and running drove it around town for about 15mins to make sure everything was cool... well pulling back into my drive way its a littel bumpy and sum how te down pie header wrap came loose and got sucked into the alternator it caught fire i put it out quickly nothing was burned or anything like that... well i tried starting the car and all it will do is turn over and over and over almost like it has no compression but did a check and it came out good...so after tryn a few times i relaized that the grounds coming from the motor would start smoking...the alternator was sending power through its casing and through the block causing that problem so bought a new alternator $142 damn dollars after all that was done i tried to crank the car again nothing just keeps turning over and over... i replaced the ecu thinking mabey it got fried still nothing its getting fule and spark and i even dicked with the timing to see if thats what it was... if anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it i need major help want the car done soon so i can take it to pinks all out... anyhow pm me with info or if your a dsm guy and come take a look at it ill throw some cash your way or mabey a few cold ones... tahnks from a newbie in the dsm world...
