FS: 98 Eclipse GS-T 61K original miles!

As it stand right now, my car is at Brotherz getting the final adjustments completed to have the car in good selling shape. I am throwing this FS thread out there just so buyers will have a car to keep in mind that will be ready for sale in next week or earlier. At that time I will take pictures and upload to this thread.

Description:

This is a 1998 Eclipse GS-T with 61k original miles- 5 speed tranny. Brotherz just replaced the cylinder head with all new internals, due to timing belt skipping a couple teeth on the upper desk of crosstown

resulting in valve mash- no further damage was done. With this work all belts were also replaced. Anyways, the car is Black and paint is in good condition, there are two minor dents on the car that can be easily popped out, the front bumper has a crack but not a biggie- which will be seen when I take pictures, as soon as I get the car back from Brothers. Interior is tan cloth in good shape no real wear at all inside.

Modifications:

Big 16 turbo, bought from lancerman, 18psi holds strong- no shaft play
550cc Injectors
FMIC kit also purchased from lancerman
SAFC-II
Greddy TypeS BOV (not recirculated due to IC piping complications hah)
All Emissions removed

can be a good thing to some people, others bad depends on your perception.
Walbro 255 rewired
K&N Air Filter 3 gauge pillar pod (temp, boost, and volt) sunpro stylez hehe
Flowmaster muffler (2.5in. in/out, welded right after 02 sensor and then dumps down from there- gives good throaty sound and very quiet at idle, faster spool definately noticeable.

**Note** All work was performed by Brothers. Also, car was tuned last time at Brotherz on the dyno and graph shows 268HP/279torque, have printed sheet that I will also scan and upload when I get the pictures taken. Have receipts for almost all work done on car, since purchased.

Other:

2 New tires just thrown on car, everything else pretty much stock. Carfax showed clean report and I will post VIN number so you guys can check the report yourself, but the SRS airbag light is lit, possibly a sensor? I don't know. Of course Check engine light one due to emissions being removed, but have checked all codes and there are not any that do not pertain to Emissions. Also I have a good size spare that is in great shape, which always helps out.

Time for the BAD:

- Sunroof does not work, does not look to be the motor because the fuse box in the car where the sunroof fuse lies does not get power to.
- No cloth headliner at the moment, working on getting my ass to go to the store and buy the materials to fix this issue.
- The radio is not the stock deck, it only plays cassette's and to make it worse, when the lights are turned on the radio just shuts off, also no antenna.
- Since emissions are removed, sometimes cold starts require a rev or two to keep the car from dying but after 10 secs or so it is good.
- OIL leaking, looks to be coming form oil pan, bolts were stripped and pan needs to be re-tapped (is this the right terminology- I am good at what I do, which as you can see car tech shit is not my day job

)
- Hatch release latch will not just pop the hatch unless you wedge something underneath it to keep it up and then pull up the hatch. Or you can just use the key and open the hatch that way- just sort of an annoyance if you know what I mean.

I love this car to death and baby it as most of the time I haul my son around in it and driving fast and stupid is the last thing I want to do. I just need more of a family car *4 DOORS* hehe, and something new. So no this does not mean I am looking for trades, sorry. I have spent an ass load of money into this car and not looking to get all of it back of course, but it is hard to find a car in this good of shape with this low of mileage around here, so I'm shooting for 6500 OBO. Like I said, I will have pics/dyno updated on thread as soon as Brotherz finishes working the little tweaks from my car. If I screwed anything up on this thread as in mis-worded or whatever, feel free to give me the good kind of criticism (WTF is the word for this, help me out here, constructive criticism maybe, WTF mate????). I have sold many cars on TR and Rob/Dave will tell you straight out I am a man of my word and this car is solid. This is a very fun car to drive, but it I am just really kind of trying to get out of the modding scene, but still stands with me FI > NA and the new car I get will definitely be FI. Well please try not to bag on the post. Any questions feel free to ask, sorry if I made you dumber by the moment of reading this as I stated before I am good with PCs/networks/Servers but when it comes to car's It's very limited, I'll also throw in grammar in with that as well. Well thanks for taking the time for looking at this thread. I will make sure to get pics ASAP, I believe I have the dyno sheet around here some where I can post, but thanks again and have a nice weekend guys- or at least whats left of it.

Sorry if this was a little too soon, just wanted to get it out there for anyone that may be looking for a clean DSM with low mileage and some speed.
