r u guys fo real? u cant compare an evo to a mitsu eclipse, yes ur car is modded but the truth is a modded mitsubishi doesn't cost shittttt, and just because u beat 1 evo 8 doesn't mean u can beat all of them, jerry has an evo 9 with under 100 miles on the motor, clean title and all it needs is 2k of work done to it and his selling it for 18k i believe. so u do the math 20k for an 06 evo with less then 100 miles on the motor or a 2g eclipse with bolts on for 17k.

 

What kind of work costs 2k?

bro . if thats the way you feel than fine. its your opinion. but that doesnt mean the car cant sell for this price . i held a deposit for the car during the summer for 16k. but the car was still in the shop. and when i got it out . i didnt want to sell so i gave the deposit back. and thats not the only offer i had for the car. i had about 4 others interested as well. so do me a favor and keep off of my thread. and i never claimed i could beat any evo out there. not at all. i raced a buddy and that was it. and its an inside joke between a bunch of us in springhill. did i race yes . did i win . yes . but im not claiming the car is an all out every evo killer. and also if the damn evo is so good of a deal . which it does sound. than why hasnt it been sold already. . not many people want to buy a car that requires you to fix to get it running for that amount . it makes you wonder whats going on with it . especially when they make a post saying that its an evo9 but comes with the evo 8 turbo and needs this and that done to get it back and running. not a good deal any more. im not out to bash anyone but people are entitles to their opinion. so like i said . if you have nothing positive to add to the thread stay off of it.

 

if the eclipse had A/C, i'd take the modded eclipse over the evo.

and i know that this particular eclipse will run good, and i'd get my $17k worth out of it.

plus, it all comes down to personal preference. both cars are awd and turbo, the eclipse is faster, and as a personal preference, looks better.

 

personal preferance is what its about .. and hey . my a/c is as frosty as they get!!! theres nothing like a car capable of 600awhp that still gets mpg in the 20's and can be daily driven.

 

oh and by the way . i need this car GONE... the price is at 16k OBO.. throw me some reasonable offers.

the car needs to be gone before thanksgiving.
