It works fine , with proper tuning tools it can be used on 1gs, 2gs, and evos flawlessly.
Was ran for 6 months on a friends 1g gsx.
Reads more airflow than the 2g mass.

Yes it has the pigtail harness for it that plugs into the mass and on the other side of the pigtail i have it with individual connectors that you splice into your stock mass harness ( 7 of them,)
The colors and pins match up the same as the 2g mass so it would be pretty straight forward for a 2g.

It read up to 62lbs/min of air I believe were as a 2g mass only reads 42ish. (Not exact on those numbers)

You need tuning to run it though you cant just put it on and go down the street. Dsmlink will work it and dsm chips will also. I believe safc will work it if u use like 650ccs or something. I will look up more on working it w/ a safc and dsmlink and post back, as I dont know because we ran it with a chip.

 

dario is running an evo8 mas with 720cc injectors. no tuning tools at all, and it runs perfect.
