You let that guy convince you to drop your price by $1,700? Geeze.
The list of repairs - are those recent repairs?
How does it run/drive?
Have you recently compression tested it? Numbers?
Pics?
You might be able to get closer to your original asking price, but you're not giving enough info.

I'm not going to purchase the car. It just think it's unfortunate that one individual tells you you're asking too much and you seem to buy into that.
You just spent over $1,300 in repairs and are not selling it for less than the repair cost? You could have had a salvage yard pick it up before you repaired it and made $140.
My advice would be to ask somewhere between what you're asking now and what you were asking. You should probably advertise elsewhere as well.
Post some pics of the car if you can.

i bought my mint 1990 tsi awd for 3000 with 168k on it.
a mint fwd turbo is prolly worth 2500.
a non turbo in good condition u should be able to get 1500 but prolly not on tampa racing u might try auto trader or something.
