Default WTB: 2g Sunroof ASAP!!!

Well to make the story short I got off of work today and found my passenger seat completely soaked from top to bottom and part of my headliner soaked. So I take it the sunroof finally started leaking. Never had this problem till now. Before matters get any worse and it ends up progressing to my driver side.

I'm in need of a 2g Sunroof. Don't need the motor nor the assembly. Just the actually glass with the weather stripping.

If you have it please let me know! I will pick it up immediately. PM your number or please reply.

Thank you!

Out of curiosity, where exactly did you blow all the gunk out?

I'm guessing that even if your seal is in bad shape, the water should still be able to be drained through the drain holes, before it gets into the car itself. DSM:reason, I'm having the same problem as you. I suppose my seal is probably in need of replacement as well, but from looking at the structure of the sunroof assembly, even if water was to leak through, it first gets trapped past the tracks and stuff and collects, there, so basically, for it to leak into the headliner, the track area must first fill up and then basically overflow into the headliner, which then would leak onto your seats and stuff.

I know there are drain holes in the rear quarter panels, under the trunk lid. I believe there are some below the tracks of the sunroof also, correct? It looks like the tracks would need to be removed though, in order to get access to those drain holes where the sunroof is located...

Either way, hopefully you get the problem fixed. I'd suggest trying to vacuum out the car and drying it as best as you can asap, to prevent the seats from being ruined. You don't want mildew and mold to start forming inside your seats or underneath your carpet.

remove the glass and the tracks and blow everything out, the tracks and the drain holes. even if it leak threw the seal the water has to pool in order to leak threw which means something isnt alowing it to drain.

Thanks for all the input everyone. I don't have an air compressor to blow anything out unless someone has another way of doing it? Tommy "cantcatchmeboy" had one available (sunroof) and I did pick it up from him and installed it yesterday evening. It hasn't rained so I can't tell if its still leaking, either way I kept my old sun roof glass just incase. I've been told to take the water hose and just drench the top of the car with water to see if it starts leaking inside. I might just try that. Because waiting for it to rain may be a while and I could be driving somewhere one day and it begins to pour then I'm back to the same scenario.

if you cant blow it out i used a long coat hanger and pushed it down the holes as far as it went and that also works.

I will be trying that tomorrow if I don't stop by my friends shop tonight to use his air compressor. Thanks for the info!
