Default WTB Cylinder head for 92 Eagle TSI AWD

I need a cylinder head for a 92 Eagle Talon TSI AWD. I'm new to these cars and I don't know what other year heads will fit, but if you do let me know. thanks. Is this engine a 7-bolt?

It was bought rebuilt but the last owner installed the head wrong, using the same head studs and using silicone, it overheated all the time, so I took the head off and took it to the machine shop where they cut the head too much, and now i need a new one.

you can get a rebuilt stripped head on ebay for 30.00 + 10 for shipping. the only other thing you will need to buy is a set of valves (125.00). you can reuse everything else. i can assemble it for you for a small fee. it easy, i just did the same thing on my car...

just to let you know...any 4g63 head should fit...including the ones from NT cars, I sold the head from my 93 eclipse NT to a turbo guy who swapped it on with no problem, I'm assuming all other 1st gen heads are like this and probably the 2nd gen ones too, there are also all the hyundai 4g63 heads that should fit as well....if you ask me...its time to hit the junkyard

2g heads won't work... too much of a hassle. The only difference between the N/T and Turbo heads is the cams... atleast from what I heard. If you pick up a head from the junkyard, it may have bent valves... being that the ones I've seen had broken timing belts (probably the reason why they are in the junkyard).

I'm gonna go to a junkyard tomorrow and see if they have any cylinder heads. I'll definatly check the timing belt and mileage.
