i have a 6 bolt short block for sale. it has a like new mitsu crank, crower rods, and arias 8.5:1 pistons. these pistons are marked with a star to show higher silicone content which makes them more expensive. the shortblock also comes with a brand new side cover new oil pump, and oil pan. arp studs will also be thrown in. the motor does have mileage on it, but looks to be very minimal. any questions can be addressed to me at my cell which is 813-924-2978. or you can leave me a pm.

yes, the miles on the motor are unknown, but i took it apart, and it looks to be in perfect condition. there was still lube on the rod bolts. i think the motor was just finished being built

 

I am interested but would like more information. Who built the engine? What was the compression numbers before tear down? Stock crank or was it turned? The arp studs you are talking about are you talking about head studs or does it have all arp's in the bottom?

 

the builder of the motor is unknown, but it looks to be like an extemely well done job. i did not check the compression on the car when i got it, but it is a brand new build, so i know the compresion is fine. the crank has beeb turned, and it has arp headstuds, as well as crower rod bolts. the motor looks to have extremely low mles. like i said there was still moly lube on the rod bolts. you really have to look at this in person. it looks absolutely beautiful.

 

Thanks but I'll have to pass. With it being a turned crank and builder unknown no matter how "beautiful" it looks it's just too risky for anywhere close to that kind of money. Goodluck with your sale though.

 

i will also enertain any offers on parting it out. as time passes the price will go down.

sorry can't send pics right now cuz i don't have a digi cam at the moment. pm me your number and we can arrange a time and place to meet. i will also be at test and tune tonight with it. my number is 813-924-2978. and i don't want to use it, is because the set up that i am running doesn't call for built internals. the way i have my motor set up, with a new head that i will build, i hope to see similar numbers to tom. plus i already have the motor together and in the car and am too lazy to swap bottom ends.
