So Grim, are you still planning on swapping that motor out in the next month? I'll stop my search if you are. Maybe I can hear it run then we could rip it out. I've taken them out by myself in 1 1/2hours so two people would take no time at all

 

yea, i'm still trying to locate the drivertrain though. i'm getting a motor set from jspec auto. as soon as i find a drivetrain, i can let the stuff go. but would 700 for the s5 be fine with you?

 

I'd do $700 for the motor + 5spd tranny <- the turbo motor would just break it anyway . Could I hear it run aswell? Then pull it? I'd have no problem paying that as long as I can make sure it runs good and doesn't eat coolant.

 

yea, you can hear it run if you want. it doesnt perform its best. i'm sure you know how the car will act with a bad OMP.

i still need to locate the drivetrain though.

 

You should really fix the OMP while the housings are still good

 

imma change it out when i removed the emissions so i can get rid of that stupid air pump. it'll be done on monday.

 

motor is ready to go. if u wanna hear it, let me know. if not then imma rip it out this week....
