Default need opinions please

hey guys. im now in the market for another car and i was looking at the second gen rx-7. any sites with good info? how reliable are they? how do they take to mods? does it take alot to make them quick ( like a 13 sec. 1/4)
what about safety features? airbags? how are they on insurance? thanx for any info.

a turbo FC handles mods very well. a 13sec FC can be done on a nearly stock TII, front mount, 3", FCD, 12psi, which is good for high 13's. You did post this in the wrong section though. I believe *some* 91's had airbags but I"m sure they would be more trouble then saftey (so old they probably don't even work). I'm 20 now, I have basic coverage on my convertible and it's $170-$180/month on my own plan. They do not know that it is turbocharged so that *might come into play when insuring a turboII rx7

Exhaust, intake, fuel injectors, chipped ecu, and maybe a boost controller = mid 13s on drag radials and high 13s on street tires. Very reliable because almost stock. You dont need a front mount to only run 13s, but it doesnt hurt.
