The Phantom Series is one of AutoMeter's most versatile lines. A modern white dial face and black super bezel is added to the trademark AutoMeter race styling and accuracy. This series offers a wide variety of tachometers from in-dash to pedestal mount to the options of the Shift-Lite (light goes off at shift RPM), Memory (recalls highest RPM) and Playback (records the entire run for later analysis). You have your choice of electrical or mechanical speedometers, depending on your application needs. The Phantom Series offers the most options for gauges including 3-3/8", 2-5/8" and 2-1/16" gauges in mechanical, electrical and "full sweep" electrical. The Phantom Series is popular among the Street Machine, Sport Compact, Truck, and Street Rod markets. With the addition of memory and playback tachometers, Phantom instruments are invading the racing scene because of the "easy to read" white dial face. The Phantom series offers three sizes (3-3/8", 2-5/8" & 2-1/16") for the ultimate in custom dash options. The mechanical gauges feature a rugged bourdon tube for quick response and accurate measurements. The electrical gauges include a rugged air core meter movement for maximum accuracy and quick response time. These are easy to install and also very dependable. The Full Sweep Electrical Gauge Series from AutoMeter sets a new standard in gauge accuracy. The increased sweep makes quick glance viewing easy while the transducer is the most accurate sender available.
