Don't bother... This guy flaked on me bad. We agreed on a price and a time to meet up on Sat. morning. He's in Ocala, so that's a 150 mile, and over a 2 1/2hr drive for me one way. I text him that I'm on my way when I leave out, then 20min before I got there he sends me a text. He said that someone is offered him $125 more than we agreed upon and that if I'm close that he'll still meet up with me to cover my gas. I was pissed, but I still went the rest of the way to meet with him and figured if the engine checked out that we might be able to work something out, even though I felt like he was trying to give me the shaft! He was suppose to meet up with me a 10am, I got to the shop where the engine supposedly was at 9:45am and waited. After texting him and calling him a couple times, he finally shows up surprisingly and hands me $28 for gas, wtf? I just spent $60 in Diesel to get up there and over 7hrs of my time as you can imagine, I wasn't very happy. He said that the other guy had just paid him and that the engine was sold and not even in the shop anymore, BS. I don't know if this motor was legit, or what kind of games he was playing but I know they didn't pull that motor out of the shop in the 20min. between the text I got and when I arrived. So he bought lunch at Burger King for me, my wife and our 2 boys that I brought along on the road trip. So I'm out almost a full tank of fuel and wasted most of my Sat. on some BS. It was a good lesson for my sons on how some people you deal with can be. I'd advise anybody reading this not to deal with this guy, you've been warned!

Get a life 800 dollars is alot better then your lowball 625 if u woulda offered the price that u supposidly had in your pocket obviously it woulds been yours If i really wanted to b a complete dick I coulda just left u sitting at the shop n not pay u gas at all

 

How is it a low ball offer if you agreed to the first offer I made??? and set up a date and time to pick it up. Then you text me after I've been driving for over 2hrs that someone is offering you $750? And I told you on the phone when I called right after that text that I had only brought $650 with me, which was true, but they do have this new thing out called an ATM you know and I'm sure there is one or two in Ocala. I told you that I wanted to still check out the motor, what do you think that means, maybe that I might be still interested if it checks out??? Then you finally show up over an hour later and tell me that the motor is sold, the guy already paid you $800 instead of $750 and that the motor isn't in the shop that I'm been sitting in front of all morning? Come on, do you really expect me to be happy about being treated like a pawn in your little pricing game you had going on, really?

The problem is that I do have a life, a very busy life full of many responsibilities like many other people out there. And I don't appreciate you wasting my time and money.
