when i connect my battery it just keeps sparking and wont work and its brand new wat do i do?

yea they connected good but my starter started sparking and it was spinning from the solenoid so i think the starter done

Bypass the starter and make sure the battery terminals are on their tightly ... If not just push t
Start it , and if it starts , it's ur starter ... Loose cables , it's usually the negative side on the starter
