If you have HID kit in your civic, dont go for sir headlight. Stay usdm oem headlight for your hid kit or otherwise get rid of hid kit if going for sir headlighgt. google hard and youll see why.

Well, I am not sure about that, but all I know is i was that close buying a set of sir headlight from the dude that lives at orlando, but he told me that if i have hid kit then not worth it or unless willing to go for oem factory bulbs in order to have sir headlight. I was like fuck that and asked why. He said sir headlight is very lightweight and it will make hid bulbs go bad very fast due flicking. He replaced hid bulbs 6 times when he had sir headlight on his civic which is why he fed up and want to sell it, so I decide to not go for sir headlight because Im kinda a highway person so hid kit is very dependful.

he must of not had the bolted down correctly then. be i have NEVER heard about this until now.

The SIR headlight itself is lighter because the front cover is plastic instead of glass. When mounted properly it doesn't matter what the weight is. More than likely he did the install half-ass. The bulb housing in h4h.
