FS: B18C JDM GSR Shortblock
Alright, up for sale is my B18C HMotorsOnline JDM GSR Shortblock.
Lets get straight to the point. I'm am certain that the bottom end has a spun rod bearing. The car was NEVER driven under these circumstances. Nor did the instance occur while the car was running. My car sat for a few weeks and I went to go drive it one day and out of no where I had an excessive sound out of the bottom end. I immediately shut off the car (within 5 seconds). Damage should be VERY minimal at that, because I drained the oil and there were NO METAL SHAVINGS. I inspected the oil with a magnet for a few minutes and there was nothing to be found.
I will be selling this shortblock complete as is, and will NOT PART OUT.
Pretty much if someone knows what they're doing you can have a brand new GSR short block for under 6 to 700 dollars. Which isn't bad at all IMO. That would mean a hone, new rings and new bearings.
Shortblock will come with full internals top to bottom with CTR Pistons. Water Pump, Oil Pump, Thermo Housing, Thermostat, Water Neck, Knock Sensor, PCV System, Oil Pan. Everything is there.
Water and Oil Pump have ~30,000 miles.
Price is set at $400.00 FIRM. For an extra $50.00 I can throw in a complete set of ARP Headstuds.
