count how many times the red light flashes on your ecu then see which ones are fast and slow put the slow one in front of the fast ones and you have a number ''like 2 fast and 1 slow is 21 then take that number and look it up in obd 0 trouble codes via google

 

dude! advanced auto parts does this service free of charge.
(so they can sell you the parts, duh)

 

just throwing this out there .. ef are obd0 and unless you swap your whole harness for an eg harnesss you dnt have the obd1 plug to scan.

 

And advanced and autozone only do obd2

hence your first post say if you have an obd1 scanner ... your obd0 so that scanner would be point less

 

wtf are you talking about im saying that the guy has an obd 0 car so he has an ecu with a little red light that blinks when there is a problem count it and do research end of story.....????
