Fs: 97 Built GSR head Ferrea Crower
Testing the waters on this head, I absolutely do not have to sell this head I jar every use for it but I can use the cash your lowballing will be simply ignored.
It's a 97 gsr head with zero miles it has ferrea STD size valves crower springs and retainers bronze valve guides and port an polish! I have stock gsr cams and gears to go with it they have been sitting for a while have light rust in some places you can take them or leave it doesn't have intake manifold, I have a painted valve cover with spark plug cover the go with it.
The story on the head the guy who previously had it used an extra cheap eBay timing belt with really aggressive stg 3 cams upon the first start up it skipped timing an bent 8 valves not all, either on the exhaus or intake side and just barely bent them not that bad at all he had it running fo maybe 5 seconds so no wear is shown on the head everything is still shiny.
I have ordered a whole new set of 16 ferrea valves that are on the way to replace ALL so the valves should not be a problem I had the head checked out and it did not damage anything else.
Might want to get new cam plates or take them off another vtec head previous owner torques them down bit much and show a little scratching around the journal.
Everything takin into consideration with all labor and work done I will take $900obo for the head Or I can just keep it and use an awesome head!
