Default FS: DC Slotted Front Rotors

Very good condition, just need to be cleaned up. Bought them for my integra and wrecked it before I could use them

Only one rotor has possibly been machined and it was only one time if that.
THIS IS NOT KNOWN FOR SURE. I don't know if they were actually machined or not, just a possibility. Whoever wants to buy them is more than welcome to inspect them before buying.

That's not true at all.. They can definitely be turned. And it's not even major. You can inspect them yourself if you're interested, I'm not tryin to screw anybody.

+1... Plus, what is making you say they were turned? How could you tell? When I turn rotors, they basicly look brand new except for the middle...

Rotors can't just be turned to look brand new forever.. Depth is lost. The look is so slight you would only barely tell if you seriously look at it, but oh well. Say they aren't turned then and come look and see if you're interested. I don't mind showing you guys. I don't know for sure if they have been or not, it was an observation I made.

well i hate to break u the bad news i work/ have friends in the race industry ie: Scca, Grand am and so on and know and talked to plenty of MAJOR brake manufacturers baer, brembo stop tech so on and U CAN NOT TURN SLOTTED/ DRILLED ROTORS.

1. it voids any warranty
2. it is HIGHLY unsafe
3. it ruins braking characteristics

if u dont believe me call brembo monday morning ur self

What makes turning a slotted rotor "HIGHLY unsafe"? I'm not trying to be an ass or anything but I just really don't understand how it works. It's just like any other rotor. It's not cross drilled so it's not like it's taking away from the structural integrity of the rotor itself, I don't see how it ruins braking characteristics when you can turn any other rotor a few times before having problems, this one may not have even been touched, I don't know for a fact. All I know is that the slots will just lose the depth that they had when the rotors were brand new... which in my mind = not as good ventilation which would just make it like a rotor that isn't slotted. But i'm no brake expert, I would just love to know the reasoning is all.

And i'm not taking my time to call Brembo, of course they are gonna tell you it can't be done, it gives them more business if you buy new ones every time rather than turn the current ones.

I know you're just pointing something out so don't take it the wrong way, but I just really don't know the facts and I have a hard time understanding the reasoning behind it.

Bump

well a slotted/drilled rotor is a diff rotor than a oem rotor and yes turning a said rotor is dangerous and does take away from strength, because drilling/slotting takes meat away so turning makes them weaker

and u are supposed to throw away slotted rotors when slots get to a certain depth

and i am thank u for understanding i am not being a dick just trying to help u out
