word, just going by the valve cover... said vtec

never worked on any of these motors before

 

Look for the "P-08" casting on the exhaust side of the head between ports 2 and 3.

But also just by looking at it, that is not a vtec head. All vtec heads have the spark plugs on the exhaust side of the head. The y7 is the only non vtec one with them like the vtec versions.

Also you shouldnt be able to fit a z6 valve cover on a d15 head, except maybe the z1.

its def a non vtec head, but still a good price if someone is just looking for a good replacement BUMP
