HELP!!! ALTERNator

I CHANGED THE ALTERNATOR IN MY CIVIC...and the battery...then i unplugged the positive cable on the battery terminal and the car shuts off still. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PROBLEM IS????

?? disconnecting the positive terminal will always cut your car off?....

U unplug ur negative not positive to see if ur car says on if not then its the alterator
