Car Alarm... Fuck thieves!!
so this is what i did and no one stole my superchargered gsr swapped hatch..
i got an alarm with a remote paging thing with the longest range, i had the rods in the door that connect to the lock taken out, so that if they pick the lock it wouldn't unlock the doors, i had remote door unlockers added i think they are called poppers it cost me an extra 80 bucks for both of them, with the alarm.. then i add a extra siren hidden good but left one under the hood where they normally are, i think it was 10bucks extra, then i had the back battery putting it in was like 20-40 bucks extra, then i had those pain sirens/generators or whatever they are call put inside the car incase they got in, it would make a loud hi pitch sound that would be unbearable - those were 10 bucks each..
next i added kill switches on the fuel and starter both ran to places no 1 would check, those were free i did them my self. i bought a $15 club the alarm cam with a hood pin but i had them put in a ball bearing switch this way if the hood is lifted or the car is lifted to be towed it trip the alarm... and page me.. i had great luck with the paging thing it would page me a block away
the most important part i think was the gps tracking stickers i put on it, the gps was alot and i didn't have the stick was like 4 bucks..
all together it cost me under 400 bucks, but i got a good deal but still it shouldn't be over 500.
never had a brake in and i live in some shitty places

The reason for a seperate battery system on the alarm is cause if by some chance does brake into your car, then they can just simply unhook the battery to shut off the alarm
they cars with alarms get stolen from out of peoples driveways is they crawl under the car and cut the batter wires then the alarm wont sound.. at least thats what i think..
i did everything i used car covers made sure no one knew where i lived, when i left meets i made sure no one followed me, i even had the address linked to my plate changed to my mothers house, just incase they knew some in the dmv..
it might be extreme but i had the car awhile and not one brake in it ,i took it to every meet and post it online often everyone knew what it had and what it looked like. everyone call me nuts for lifting my hood at all the meets but all that work must have payed off cause it never got touched..
good luck alarms are needed be smart keep your car
