question . what is the top hose of the radiator

i just re-placed the radiator and the thermastat on my b16 what is the top hose of the radiator called because i think thats bad now....

i just call it the upper hose

but the car still over heats.... even after i replaced the thermastat

check ur engine ground wires,check ur fan make sure its working the right way and coming on.check ur oil make sure u have oil and make sure its not creamy and runny
