Default FS: P28 ecu

Just found another P05 in my ecu parts bin, I converted it to vtec and socketed it to be used for Crome, ECtune, and Hondata

this ecu will work for any B, D, H, F series motor because it can be programmed to run on any application. Crome being the most cost efficient, I can map it out to work with your motor. Skunk 2 chips are awful, you can put any chip in my ecu that you like. LMK

So the Skunk chip is what, a single map, unchangable. Sorry to sound like a noob but I got no idea about ecu tuning. lol Whats the dif between the two? What else do I need to do to make it work for a y8/a6 like tuning, cost of tuning. The skunk chip increses timing and fuel, what does yours do for performance? Thanks alot

no pre-bought chip will make optimum power for yor specific motor. every motor is different. Think of it like a stereo. They have sound presets, but everybody will want to tweak it a little to make it sounds optimal for their satisfaction. Same goes for your motor. There are a ton of preprogrammed settings for you ecu to run your motor. But your motor needs to be tuned to make optimum power. My computer, like any other socketed ecu allows for that tuning to be done, i can make you a map that will run your motor pretty well but unless you get it tuned with a wideband theres no 100%.

Skunk 2 chips just raise your rev limit, dump alot of fuel and advance timing, who knows how your motor runs with that. They just use that for marketing to make it sound good. And half those chips out there that say Skunk2, Mugen, Spoon on them are just some stock maps with more fuel and timing that somebody threw together and stickered em to sell em on ebay.
