FS: 98 Prelude SH motor/trans/ATTS full swap
H22a4:
Block code: 2500689
Trans code: M2U4-3000471
Motor out of my '98 SH lude. H22a4 engine w/ ATTS trans. Will include axles and ECU.
Here is the deal with the engine: It was completely rebuilt by myself. I had it bored .020 over, installed Eagle H-beam rods but used factory pistons since I got a killer deal on a set of Eagles. ACL bearings and all factory Honda gaskets used, all new timing stuff, all Honda including new oil pump. This thing is solid. Well it would be solid, but when I installed the balance shafts I ****ed up and they're knocking for some reason. I've had many guys look at it and even guys on honda-tech are telling me the same. I know the knock is NOT coming from the rods or crank, I know for a fact the rods and crank were installed right, as I did it myself.
The transmission is in GREAT shape as the car only has 120k miles.
This will NOT come with a clutch.
I'm really not wanting to fix this engine, I got a OBD1 H22a for dirt that I'm probably gonna swap in and I'm not going to use the ATTS stuff. I know someone could get this and get a balance shaft eliminator kit and just throw it in something and be bad as hell. I'm just sick of seeing it, and I'm ready to move on.
I am willing to separate anything you want, if someone offers me good money I'll part the head and block and whatever else. I'd give a deal if someone bought it all though. I will pull the oil pan when someone comes to buy it to verify the Eagle rods.
$1450 obo is what I'll ask for the whole deal. Make offers on anything you need.
