you need to place this add in the honda tech to get answers cause this is strictly for sales on parts.
What I would do! ls block with new bottom end bearings and piston rings. Install arp rod bolts and head studs. Vtec water pump, prefer GSR or ITR. GSR girdle/crank guard. B16 head prefered or just use gsr head. 3ft ss line and a tap with a set screw and a fitting for the head for new oil supply. This is the main shit I consider when doing ls-v builds, insures safeness.

Next while you're already taking it apart and having cash spent I would get the head shaved a few times if B16 and then get it port matched. Get genuine or replica "CTR" pistons not ITR. Bigger injectors, H22 ones work great. 4-1 header, vtec needs to breath for more power! Then since the block has been reinforced these are a few things you can add on to get that extra little bit. A few more bolt ons can def. be considered. This is my route for a nice ass ls-v that still stays dependable. G/l

om about to build a LS-V also. my build is LS block, Type R pistons(USDM) ,2001 Ls rods, B16 head( stock internals )gonna have the head rebuilt by clearwater cylinder head. ,Ls tranny,450cc injectors, obx style intake manifold, DC 4-2-1 headers, and stage 2 clutch

im doin the head tap with a stainless steel kit form AE.
and prob gonna wire Vtec to a switch in the dash board. And tune it to kick at about 46K.

good build? lmk

please dont wire vtec to a switch...and 450 injectors are no good with your n/a motor your just wasteing gas.but rest sounds good make sure your useing a obd2 oil pump
