yup 99-00 and 96-98 are slightly different, it's amazing that they made them different but just slightly, that's why a 99-00 front doesn't fit perfect on a 96-98 but it's close but a 96-98 front on a 99-00 is very hard to get it to fit. Anyways I shoulf have one of these Fri. or over the weekend, if so I'll just trade you str8 up, g/l

the only different is the tab on the front where the bumper on the side of the grill clips onto.

Go check for replacement radiator support they are all like 96-00

I got a 97 with a a 99 front end and i use the 96-00 and its just the tabs that are different!

if you have trouble fitting the fender and headlight its not the radiator support chances are its you. The pain in the ass part of lining up and fitting these are is just part of the process.

If you buy another radiator support 96-98 or 99-00 you will have the same problem you are having now.

I have done alot of from end conversions and radiator support replacements so i know.

PM me if ya need help
