Smile Help on 2000 civic si mods.

Hi all,
I have a 2000 Honda civic SI and i'm looking to modified it for racing in Gainesville Raceway. I'm looking for a Scunk2 intake manifold if you may have one for sale, I will like to get some stage 2 cams for my motor.

My car have the original B16A2 vtec motor and i have a cold air intake with Greddy 4-1 headers already, everything else is all stock.

Any help as to modified this motor will be apprieciated.

My aim is to build this motor to perform 13 or 14 seconds flat on the 1/4 mile race.

Thank you all.
I look forward to seeing you all in Ocala on Saturday nights get together.
please e-mail me or call me on 352-494-0388.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

well theres a big difference between 13 sec and 14 sec. you can get to 14 with minor engine work and other things but if you want to run into the 13's or 13 flat you will need major engine work of forced induction sticking with the b16a2 power plant. my suggesion would be to if ur dead set on a fast straight line car but a fox body mustang ( i used to have a 13 sec one with basically nothing but heads and gears) or focus on something like auto x. or spend the money and do a proper turbo set up. nothing ghetto!!

sorry just me .02...

+1 on FI. You'll do n/a and be happy for a while, but you'll want more power. that's where turbo comes in
